Timescaping Fellowship
a place-based exploration for temporal wanderers re-patterning their relationship with time
September 1 to October 13, 2026
many of us are living within a constant sense of urgency — pressured to move faster than our bodies can hold, our communities can nurture, and the earth can sustain. If you’re feeling stretched, rushed, out of sync, or longing for another rhythm, come play with us.
The Invitation
This fellowship begins with an intimate gathering of people who are curious about what becomes possible when we slow down enough to notice the many timescapes we already inhabit.
Timescaping is not about escaping urgency, but learning to recognize it, to notice when it activates us and when it depletes us. It means tending to different rhythms of time, all the time. Ones that feel alive, needed, creative, responsive, nurturing, and everything in between.
This is why we're bringing 16 fellows together to tend what grows between us when we nurture and relate to time differently.
“I have never really related to the idea of a singular history or future. There is something profound that emerges once you learn to reject the notion that we're all meant to trod along a fixed, linear path. Rather, I see time as a series of collisions, always in motion and constantly shaping our be(com)ing.”

What to expect
The fellowship unfolds across four weekly gatherings, a two-week pause, and a closing reflection. What happens here cannot be fully scripted in advance.
We will wander through different timescapes, compost rhythms we have inherited that no longer serve us, and tend to ones that are still unravelling. Together, we will weave a series of zines capturing the embodied and relational shifts felt in the space, while collaborating with an illustrator to bring this shared exploration to life visually.
There is no fee to participate in the Timescaping Fellowship. To make participation more accessible, we're able to offer up to 8 fellows a modest participation stipend. When you apply, we'll simply ask whether receiving one would make it easier for you to fully engage.

Closing
Tuesday, October 13, 2026
Between our weekly gatherings, we invite you to slow down and root in your own temporal ecosystems, witnessing the rhythms already alive around you. We anticipate spending around 2-4 hours weekly outside of our scheduled time engaging with creative experiments and reflection prompts to guide timescaping explorations in your own context.
